Got some metals from IWM today. Didn't realise they came without bases. Have to wait for some bases in the mail before i assemble them.

Make sure to save any cookie and candy tins you get this Christmas! They make fantastic storage boxes for miniatures! Just put little magnets under the bases of each unit and they stick really well!

A shiny (literally) new Nightstar for the Unmarked (totally just pirates we swear). Photographing this was tricky, still working out my new phone camera and I think the metallics confuse it. This thing absorbed a fiendish amount of paint, it's so big. Sculpt is pretty nice. #battletech #minipainting

Calling it done. Wasnt sure what i was doing with the base. Overall real happy with the effect, eldar are super fiddly to paint though. Scheme inspired by Gyunei Guss' Jagd Doga from Chars Counterattack. #warhammer40k #warhammer #miniaturepainting #aeldari

Picked up some Aeldari on a whim a while back, finally started work on one of them. First GW model in a decade or something like that. Still have plenty of mechs to paint but its nice to change it up now and then. Just bases and some pre-shades so far.

These two had been "almost done" for ages. I wasnt super happy with the bronze effect but decided to just get them finished. Its amazing how much proper basing can improve a model, in the end i think they look alright. #battletech #miniaturepainting
