Myuphrid
@myuphrid.bsky.social
Pronounced MEW-frid. Harmless weirdo and costume enthusiast. NSFW stuff to be expected, standeth thou forewarned.
She/they pronouns, mid-30s.
It's hard to express the hit of nostalgia I felt when I held the completed model. The detail is phenomenal.

(There's also a Super Mario Land cartridge, but that's in the slot.)

This might be the first action figure I've ever seen whose accessories are a pen and a book. Extreme journalling action!

"I enjoy watching your transformation into my own image, insect. Perhaps there is hope for you yet."

A marvellous commission from the ever-magnificent @bastianmage.bsky.social!

As far as I'm concerned, these are the only two British-written wizards worth discussing.

(And probably a bunch more besides these, but these two are my favourites.)

And, as is tradition, another steampunk gerwalk.

And his box-mate counterpart Bumblebee looks perhaps even cuter than steampunk!Optimus, but it's less unexpected since Bumblebee is a little guy. Choo choo!

This toy might be the closest since more stringent toy regulations that Megatron will ever get to having a gun for an altmode again.

A lovely little thing from the ever-excellent TurbineDivinity (www.furaffinity.net/user/turbine...)! Sometimes all you need is huge rubber-clad boobs!

How does Myuphrid, with her lupine head, put on a mask of Mass Effect's asari, who are human-shaped? The answer, as you may already have guessed, is irrelevant in light of the benefits of sexy alien costumes.

I'm not really bothered about Marvel or Magic: The Gathering, but too bloody right am I going to buy the action figure of a werewolf with a sword.

Just be sure to mind your fingers.

And, while we're at it: steampunk gerwalk.

Starscream, on the other hand, looks rather more like he vants to drink my blood. It must be hard for a jet-mode Transformer to find yourself in a time period that predates aerial vehicles, so I suppose he just had to improvise.

Timelines Optimus Prime's vehicle is positively adorable. Not an adjective one traditionally associates with Optimus, but he really is so small! Stick a face on it and it'd look like a distant relative of Thomas the Tank Engine.

Managed to get my hands on the last of these three figures. The Galva-trio is in full effect!

Now where's Ultra Magnus and that Matrix of Leadership?

Lust, please!

Drop some MASKS

I'm pretty sure I bought this toy at least partly because of the cool beast mode. Yes, I will readily cop to the accusations of being furry trash. Meow.

In any case, the Glacialord team are an interesting bunch. The majority of third-party Transformers hew to modern highly detailed and articulated designs, so seeing toys that look like the classic square clunksters (affectionate) from the late 80s is practically unique.

One of the online shops I frequent had three of the five figures from Fansproject's "Glacialord" for a pretty hefty sale (Tusker in particular was down from $70 to $10!), so I snapped them up.

Of course, only having 3 of a 5-bot team makes for a rather uneven combiner. Careful with the recoil...
