well. yes. the south is on the threshold of hell. I wear a lot of bug spray if i’m out near the woods at night/on a hike. long sleeved sun shirts and linen pants are a good option but they’ll also stick to you which is a sensation i despise.

i usually try to wear a rain jacket but mine kinda sucks so sometimes you just have to accept it and know your gonna be wet all day because you simply will not dry off outside. general humidity tip - just wear as little clothing as possible bc it’ll all stick to you

and of course i have a bunch of mindless busy work that will be miserable without a soundtrack

all my loved ones on campus today are safe and either evacuated or still locked down, but there will be a lot of people today that can’t say that. i don’t understand how we never do anything to prevent this as a society and a country
