This is such a mess. I just hope that people there keep their heads cool, stay smart, safe and peaceful in the face of this nightmare.

I've heard this before tbh. Whenever the indisputable facts are not in the favor of somebody who is parroting the Fox talking points, "they all lie" is the usual bastion they retreat to. It's a reliable tactic too, when coupled with "whataboutism". Maybe a good 1st step, but definitely a baby step.

So it sounds like the voters of TN07 will decide if we see the Epstein files.

I'm no fan of Maduro, but we should not be killing people in an undeclared war for more oil. There was no immediate threat, and it's unconscionable that in pursuing Trump's aggressive policy they may have blown up some fishermen trying to provide for their families.

Seems like groceries are up a lot more than that.

I can just imagine the focus group that Johnson and his Republicans must have held with an image consultant, where they were being taught how to pronounce "affordability", by slowly sounding out every syllable.

Well, as long as he wasn't wearing a beige suit, it's all good right?

Trump isn't known for thinking past the headline grabbing step 1. Everything after step 1 can be figured out in "two weeks".

It sounds like he has no problem with the "money sucking insurance companies", his problem is only with who's paying them.

Thanks, if you make one it would be cool to know your thoughts. I've printed two prototypes and they work well, but feedback always helps improve things.

Why do they say he is "accused", and why are the crimes "alleged", when he was convicted of them?

So, Medicare for all then Lindsey?

China can keep it's rare earths. Dr Oz is gonna make the US the top producer of cheap, clean, anti-matter.

It's usually for the one thing Republicans can't mess up, the weather (well they can, but it takes a while).

And nothing says capitalism like an AI bro asking Uncle Sam to backstop private loans. That seems to have been slapped down (for now at lea$t). But the fact they were asking for it, shows how far the Wile E. Coyote market has gotten from the edge of the cliff.

OpenAI seeks US government backing to fund $1tn expansion
OpenAI has said it might need government backing to fund a trillion-dollar spending plan amid concerns that the AI boom is being funded by enormous levels of debt.

That pay package seems like it may be the "jump the shark" moment for this bubble market.

Of course, some folks are always gonna be hateful a-holes, and for them, I agree.

To each their own, and shunning has a purpose. But disengagement and isolation can push people further into their silos. Hate backs people into a corner, so it's worth trying to illuminate a path out of that darkness for people you care about. Someday we will all need to be back on the same team.
November 7, 2025 at 11:57 PM
This seems like it's really just a solicitation for a "donation" to Trump's ballroom.
November 7, 2025 at 11:47 PM
It's transparently dumb, and disproportionate. I'd also be very surprised if Maduro hasn't figured out that the US is unlikely to get involved with a ground war in Venezuela. But China and Russia would love nothing more than to have the US stuck in another costly forever war, but on our own doorstep

The best gift to give your kids and grandkids this year is a chance to live in a democracy, and not whatever hell Trump and Project 2025 have planned for us. They may not appreciate that as much a a boatload of toys from Amazon or Walmart, but they will thank you later.
