Perhaps in 2026 I will have my own business and much thicker skin. It’s where I need to be, but goddam it’s gonna be a bit awful until then.

I’m hoping to start a business delivering technical making workshops on this rock and it’s going to be great if I pull it off. It’s just very difficult to focus and do it with the way things have gone.

When I was younger I’d feel like I was emotionally unstable and that I should be coping but sometimes you are in a shit situation and the reaction is what’s to be expected. You sometimes have to make big changes to stop the rot.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's isolating because there's few places to process anything these days. This place is still obscure enough to not be the weird panopticon of criticism towards every publicly visible action. It'll go the same way as every other place, but right now it's alright.

I think I am an #Onshape convert now due to the ease of parameter changes and the way constraints are laid out. I like that the history of operations are actually written descriptively and not just a row of icons along the bottom. Now to learn assembly...
