One of our Fellows has co-curated a fascinating exibition of Indian botanical art. Henry Noltie & Sita Reddy chose 52 drawings by Indian artists, and where possible identified the artists responsible.
'Flora Indica’ is on at the Sherwood Gallery, Kew until 12 April 2026.

Cutting out of the Curieux by marine artist Mark Myers

She was a French corvette launched in 1800 and operated as a commerce raider. On a night in 1804, the British 74 HMS Centaur sent in her boats to successfully cut her out from Fort Royal harbour, Martinique.

Sad to hear of the passing of Vernon Dahmer Jr. His father died defending his family from KKK attack. The Sr. Master Sgt. handled the funeral, etc. "I didn't have time to cry." When a jury convicted KKK leader Sam Bowers of ordering his father's murder, tears flowed. He finally had time to cry.

That’s the impact of the Community Action Team, where a group of residents is reshaping how neighborhoods engage with City Hall.
