Our church choir director insisted I sing this awful song during the main service in early 1978- she said I sang it much better than Debby Boone... that didn't make me feel any better 😏 #AT40

Hi #AT40 friends! Dec 77- end of 1st semester of Sr year in HS. As a mbr of Montgomery Co (MD) honors chorus, I sang selections from the Messiah at Kennedy Center w/National Symphony Orchestra. What a thrill! It was a really fun time in my life-and all of these songs were a big part of it 😁

You Are the Woman was Dad's other fave song in 1976- he turned the radio up whenever it came on. I feel like he's speaking to me today through the music! He's been gone 10 years, and it still doesn't seem real that he's not here- or maybe he is 😊#AT40

Nov 1976- Jr yr in HS, and finally starting to find "my peeps" in the Drama Club and choir/madrigals. Also tried out a new haircut. I loved it, but it took way too much time and hairspray 😂 Looking forward to these songs transporting me back to those fun days! #AT40

Many thanks to you, my #AT40 friends, for your expressions of sympathy as I process my cousin's imminent passing. I really love this group – you've comforted me through many medical challenges, and now this. We have truly built a special community, and I'm very grateful ❤️

I sang harmony & played guitar on Why Me Lord in a trio of freshmen in my dorm at U of MD...had never heard it before, but I enjoyed the harmonies. Fun times 😁 #AT40

I hope Jimmy Webb made a ton of money off of this version of MacArthur Park – I much prefer the original version by Richard Harris, but I love Donna, so I won't say anything bad about this version. Have a great week everybody – see you back here next Saturday! #AT40
