Thank you – so is your pretty kitty! We had an orange and white tabby when I was growing up. He was even crazier than Emmett is 😆

Happy birthday to Mr. Jenkins! My cousin (also a pitcher) was his roommate when they were with the Miami Marlins, then part of the Phillies farm system. They stayed in touch until recently, when my cousin's dementia progressed to the point that he could no longer speak.

I do miss Frederick. Used to sing at a club on Market St (no longer there) on Friday nights. I'll be visiting there at Christmas time 😁

No, still have lots of friends who live there, but I moved to NC in 2003. I'm now in Wilmington, NC, home to another fabulous Riverwalk!

My grandparents used to take me to the Ice Capades at the Atlantic City convention Center every summer in the 70s

that was a scary time. One of my mom's coworkers was one of the first victims of the beltway snipers. They caught them on I-70 near Myersville Maryland, close to where I lived at the time. I was on my way to work in Frederick and saw the helicopters circling and wondered what was happening #AT40

Me in my madrigals costume in 1977, ironically! Don't have any photos of me at Renaissance fairs 😏

I was in Bethesda – just a few miles from the VA line! My dad taught in Arlington

It was a lot of hard work – the NSO conductor was a harsh taskmaster – but it was worth it. We sounded great 😁

Same. When I first heard, it occurred to me that he was singing about the way the world was created to be. I somehow already knew that at age 11.

Mine was too – that's why I was so surprised that she had even heard that song!
