Jupiter… hang in there with it. I kept having to recenter it. You can see the bands as it moves from center.

Jupiter & the Orion Nebula as I see them thru my Nexstar 8se telescope. Really cool! I can see 4 of Jupiters moons as well. Jupiter is approx 365 million miles away & the Orion Nebula is approx 1500 light years away.

What a shame! It breaks my heart that my country’s relevance in the world of science appears to no longer be a priority. Other countries will step up to lead I am sure, but watch my country intentionally become anti-science is more than frustrating.
