Well, since I've been accused multiple times of being a cat lover by Vance's flying monkeys, it is time for me to openly admit that I do, in fact, love cats and am currently the house servant to several of the little stinkers.
Evil, stupid, and revolting; Krusty Gnome with her spackled on makeup, Kegseth oozing a trail of hair grease and spoodge, whatever the hell is going on with the bug eyed fellow who keeps stealing a plane, the canned ham masquerading as a Homan, and of course there's this little guy:

I kind of enjoy the rumor that it was Maxwell's horse. I think "Who's Bubba," has a nice ring as a replacement to the ridiculous "Let's go Brandon," don't you?

But the article I linked concerned Trump's first term - where he attempted to push Ukraine into digging up dirt against the Biden family and threatened to withhold aid if Zelenskyy did not.

Trump’s Extortion of Ukraine: A Complete Government Shakedown
While President Trump is at the center of the Ukraine controversy, the alleged extortion scheme likely implicates a host of top administration officials and advisers.

What will guarantee that peace when Russia has repeatedly violated the Budapest Memorandum?. How much land should Ukraine give up because we're afraid of pissing off Putin? Why should the people of Ukraine trust the United States when our interests have so far not aligned with their best interests?
December 2, 2025 at 11:14 PM
I will admit bias here. I don't trust Trump one bit where Russia is concerned, especially after his administration relaxed US counter efforts against Russian sabotage. And I was ashamed of the way that Zelenskyy was treated by the Trump administration in February.

I agree that healthcare costs did go up and I actually am not a fan of the ACA. However, it's a lifesaver for people who were denied coverage due to preexisting conditions and I'm not willing to throw it based on that fact until we have something better.

How do you feel about the announcement that the October reports may not be released at all?

Why Is Trump Hiding Economic Reports?
When a presidential administration abruptly stops releasing the most important economic indicators — GDP, inflation, jobs, consumer spending — Americans must ask a blunt question: What are they trying...

Examples include, but are not limited to: deployment of the National Guard against states' wishes, the levying of tariffs without congressional approval, the cuts (via DOGE) made to budgets that were already approved, and the attacks on Venezuelan boats in international waters (act of war).
December 2, 2025 at 10:51 PM
How would we roll that out? If regulation and oversight is at a state level, then wouldn't that end up further restricting us? If I live in New Jersey, for instance, and the best qualified hospital for a given condition is in New York, does that mean I would need to become a NY resident?
December 2, 2025 at 10:45 PM
And if the federal government should exist solely for border control and military protection, then shouldn't the majority of our taxes go towards our own states rather than to the federal level?
December 2, 2025 at 10:42 PM
But by that definition of what the federal government is, why would you support Trump's deployment of the National Guard against states' objections? Right now, our politicians mainly serve the interests of their own profit and that of lobbyists. I want BOTH parties held accountable for that.

Given our country's history of preference toward specific races/ages/genders, how would we go about ensuring that bias doesn't impact hiring and college admissions without DEI? Wouldn't it be better to take what we currently have and improve it rather than scrap it completely?
December 2, 2025 at 10:38 PM
While DEI is not perfect, it is the best thing we have at this time to combat preferential treatment towards white males. How many white males, with equal or better grades compared to candidates of other ethnicities or genders, do you know of that were denied admission?
December 2, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Can you explain why you think that was a good thing?
December 1, 2025 at 6:45 PM
I am as well. Our treaties with Russia concerning nuclear weapons were shaky even prior to their invasion of Ukraine and Putin has stated that the US providing weapons is considered an 'act of war'. I think both Dems and Republicans are between a rock and a hard place in this situation.
December 1, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Russia is not our ally. However, we are supposed to be Ukraine's ally. That was part of why Ukraine agreed to give up their nuclear weapons. Russia breached the Budapest Memorandum; why would we bring THEIR terms to Ukraine (packaged as Trump's plan) instead of taking Ukraine's terms to Russia?
December 1, 2025 at 6:38 PM
What do you mean by 'make their own healthcare decisions'? Healthcare costs are skyrocketing and were doing so before the ACA. How does making our own decisions reverse that? The ACA prevents the denial of claims for preexisting conditions. Do you believe that's a mistake?
December 1, 2025 at 6:32 PM
If you believe that Republicans have a better health care plan, why would you not want them to work to implement it? Wouldn't now be the ideal time since they currently control all branches of the government?

The truth is, he never should have been confirmed and after that mistake - should have been shit canned for not knowing how to handle classified intel.

This mess is on Trump and every Republican Senator who voted to confirm him.

Maybe the media shouldn't have normalized his behavior prior to the election? I think he was seen as good for ratings and the media forgot that he's got a long history of biting the hands that feed him.
