Yeah people don’t understand how insane the surge here is. The insane videos you see are examples of stuff happening dozens or hundreds of times daily. (Although, again, there are signs they are departing for outstate after being roundly rejected by the community).

Based on their behavior here and the lack of any accountability for them, I think it’s probable that ICE could rob a bank in broad daylight and get away with it.

If calling a state secret police agent a murderer for committing murder will lead to more murder by the state secret police, it sure seems like the problem is with the secret police

I’m sure that there’s some datapoint from 2011 that shows boosted conversion rates on political fundraising texts/emails that appear “from the candidate”, but in 2026 I’d really like to challenge some consultant to just try sending normal msgs like you’d get from your local community non-profit

I've played around w/ Svelte every now and again, but Svelte v5 is the first time I've felt like it's something I would enjoying building on.
It's got some nice ideas it seemingly borrowed from Ember and feels pretty ergonomic. Intuitive enough. Powerful primitives.

Making a (probably) final MGBC out of remaining parts, and just discovered the shell I bought for it months ago is the non-IPS version, so now I need to wait for a new one
On the plus side, everything worked first test, so all the hard bits are done (sans placing a ferrite array for the link port)
