Movie executive's choice: make blockbuster movies in the US only, at twice the price and with a limited number of CGI, effects, and other experts - that only shows in American theaters. Or, make movies globally for a global market. You want to crush Hollywood? Never fear, Trump is on the job!

But will it be too late? The damage being done isn't easily reversible. It's like drilling holes in the hull of a boat. You can finally stop drilling, but either way the boat is sinking. Patching those holes is much more difficult than drilling them in the first place. And the boat might sink first.

So many basic tax-funded services in other developed countries are either severely underfunded or simply don't exist in the United States. It is the only country that is so geared towards empowering the wealthy rather than lifting the average citizen.

Destroying so much wealth, many lives, businesses, the nation's reputation and allowing anger and division to swell to such a great extent… nothing justifies sitting back quietly and just allowing that to happen. If you want the country to stave off fascism try investing in and improving education.

Americans voting in octogenarian Senators just because they recognize the name on the ballot is one of the country's greatest democratic weaknesses. Not being able to primary out these candidates is another. Term limits for all elected offices are a must.

It's a golden age for kidnappers who just have to claim they're ICE in order to whisk people away right under the noses of citizens. Who could really tell the difference… is there even a difference?

I hate to tell you, but power has been one of the only consistent things ever to cause the world to take the US seriously. Otherwise America often stands in opposition to many of the things even its closest allies value. Healthcare, education, living wages, support for families raising kids… etc.
