Never 51. Slava Ukraine. Capitalism doesn't work without healthy social programs. Lots of attention paid to US politics because it does, always has and always will affect Canada disproportionately. Also Canadian politics is boring, just the way I like it!
Not one thing on this list is particularly radical. They are all things commonly found in other wealthy developed economies. It's not outsiders making life hard for American citizens. It's tax cutting billionaires, lobbyists and politicians who want your tax dollars working for them, not for you.

I don't expect Trump to be appalled by this utter lack of respect and diplomacy from one of the senior members of his staff. But what about Tesla's Board of Directors? Are they interested in protecting their investors? In performing their fiduciary responsibilities?

Not only do these billionaires not know anything about fighting wildfires, but they are actually the ones contributing the lion's share of the CO2 responsible for the changing climate exacerbating the fires. AKA the very last group of people who should criticize and the first who should help.

There was a time when leaders, in the midst of a tragedy, stepped forward and reassured those affected that everything possible is being done and they'd be looked after and helped in rebuilding. Now it's all points and peacocking.

For this to matter c-sections would have to occur for millennia to make a difference. And it would only hold true if brain size equalled success, which Musk disproves daily. All while causing increased side effects (infection, organ damage, future pregnancy complications, etc.) for the mother.

The reason I'm in America… not why I'm an American, because at his core he's not. But he is going to try and be America's boss, unofficially of course, because non-Americans aren't permitted to hold the top job. Perhaps they shouldn't be allowed near it either.
