the one thing i don’t like about our new apartment is the smoking policy. people can smoke cigs inside their suites (wtf lol) but you can’t smoke weed on the premises, despite weed being stinky for 30 seconds and not making the hallway smell like absolute dogshit

if you are food insecure for both the humans and pets in your household there is a tool called Pet Help Finder that can help locate pet food banks nearby and other free or reduced price assistance and supplies for pets.

i've only seen two great blue herons in my area and most have migrated by the end of october. this was an absolute treat to watch this immature heron fish and relax on a beaver dam
