SEMH teacher, wobbling vegan, pagan, frustrated optimist. Formerly in love with the bird place.
Worst work day in a while.
I am useless, can’t do my job and no-one in my class listens.

Tearful, broken and not getting much of a lunch break as one of my class refuses to go outside.

Oh and the move is on delay, as the lease extension is a fiasco, as feared.

12 Christmas cards painted this week. Only another 30 odd more to do. Might manage this!

On behalf of the BBC, I would like to apologise unreservedly that Donald Trump, who featured in the flagship program, 'Panorama' has not yet released The Epstein files.

Lovely day out round Arundel castle.
Spent too much- most of it in a friend’s bookshop, however, so that doesn’t really count… right?

To pee, or not to pee? Every teacher’s “too short lunch break” dilemma. Every day.

Oh the school joy vampire’s finally on her last chance.
Our headteacher’s planning on kicking her right up the pants…

Actually sent in a welfare concern to the bbc over Ellie tonight. Clearly overwhelmed on the balcony. I hope she gets more down time.
September 27, 2025 at 8:13 PM
#Strictly Is Ellie getting a bit overwhelmed? (SEND teacher wants to get her out of there to a less stimulating environment - I hope they’re providing that)

Starmer says past governments have been "squeamish" talking about immigration. Bullshit.

Starmer isn't bravely breaking a taboo. He's blaming vulnerable people & deflecting attention from the super rich who hoard power & wealth.

Labour must finally stand up firmly against a Reform policy. Call it out for the obscenity it is. Starmer has recently finally spoken out against populism and division. What could be more populist and divisive than this? Nor for heaven's sake, don't dodge it, or excuse it. Challenge it.

This has to be a moment of reckoning. Broadcasters must focus on the practical consequences and make them clear. It would be utter, society altering chaos. That should dominate the approach, as it would coverage of any other party's policies.
