Decals and topcoat done. Might've been easier to just use the stickers for the decals on the leg bits that 'wrap around', but I toughed it out for practice.
It's way too cold in my airbrushing area right now, not sure if that will affect GX114 drying but took it downstairs to cure just in case.

HGs really come together quickly, no incidents after the issue with the head. Was hoping having water decals would let me avoid stickers but there's still quite a few I needed to use. Just regular decals left now, though.

Did a double take at this because it's the exact same weapon set I've been planning to put on the model kitbash I'm gonna get around to doing... eventually

Part of me wants to just get every single IBO MG they put out because they are so cool. But the backlog is in such a state that I'll maybe hold out for Lupus Rex, lol. I'd bite for Gusion Rebake for sure though.

The owner of the previous company I worked for was well aware of the value of these things, and had me store around 30 Aerons in a storage unit when he sold the company and closed that office. It was pretty funny to think I was looking at a pile of chairs worth way more than my car.

Well, shit...my first thought was Panel Liner Incident™, but some of the parts that broke weren't near any of it. So it was probably just my ham hands. Either way, Tamiya Extra Thin fixed it, should look fine on display. I was very, very careful cleaning up the rest of that liner afterwards though.

I haven't touched it since the first update but I feel like I kinda have to check out Gog. I hope they make it properly terrifying.

Stickers on models are my least favorite thing of the entire process, but I have to hold myself back from going overboard on water decals because I find them fun and relaxing. Mainly because if a decal is not lined up perfectly it will drive me nuts and you get limited chances with stickers.

I read the manhwa 'Surviving the Game as a Barbarian' recently and it plays with this in some fun ways. I also like Karate Survivor a lot. In neither case do they specifically suck but the underdog approach still works for me, whereas I can't really stomach straight up power fantasy anymore.

Huh, I was in on this day 1 and enjoyed it but I had given up on hearing from it again due to the layoffs that hit the team. I think it has a super cool combat system but yeah the procedural nature of it kinda lost me after a while due to repetition.

I had a similar realization with Rise of the Golden Idol last night, I got a bunch more of that to play this weekend

I had a lot of fun with it in the alpha/beta tests but had to throw in the towel at release when all my rounds were full of bots. The game itself though, I like a lot. I believe it was in last month's Humble Choice so people might have it and not tried it yet.

A big draw here for me was how much extra stuff it comes with. That poor Action Base 4 could barely handle it though, it's heavier than it looks - lots going on inside. Also comes with a spare Core Fighter.

My 8bitdo ultimate randomly disconnects on average of once a year so it's impossible to troubleshoot, but it's happened at the worst possible moment every time. 10/10 controller other than that
