Why is most of the good music coming out in a giant clump this year?

Oooo what mysteries? I swore I was going to read more current/ish Japanese novels and then fell down on the job.

Right? Demon Time was the lead single and it hooked me hard. Like the soundtrack to an indie Oklahoma horror movie.

I'm so glad you like it! You might like Hayden Pedigo's instrumental albums more. He's the one who plays the sort of country guitar parts. His albums are also experiences, just a different genre.

lolololol no, but i wish. i'm not totally sure, but i think it's because he's betting with house money on his livestreams. i assume they can get him for deceptive advertising or something.

It seems like the better way to do it. I don't want to turn movies into a job. Music started to feel like that and it wasn't fun anymore.

Maybe I'll just do my favorite and least favorite, because that's easy, and then the others in vague groupings of pretty good, okay, and meh instead of actually assigning number rankings to an entire list. That feels like more fun than trying to rank the entire middle.

It's so hard. I don't know why it's so much easier to section them off by quarters than it is to compile a ranking of the whole year. At least I didn't start going to the theater until summer, so it's only six months of movies this time.
