This year, we held our 7th annual Eat & Greet where nearly 800 neighbors, housed and unhoused, came together for food, drinks, music and connection—and we are preparing to break ground on a 20-unit Workforce Village to house neighbors engaged in our employment programs.

- Acqua Apartments: CHNW’s former hotel conversion in Gresham has been transformed into a 75-unit student housing community. Funded through Project Turnkey, it offered a year of free rent to ARCS participants attending MHCC. The property operates at 60% AMI rent, with utilities.

Current and Upcoming Initiatives
- Affordable Rents for College Students (ARCS) program, launched in 2020 in response to rising student homelessness and provides subsidized housing with wraparound services to help low-income, housing-insecure students persist in their education.

Unlike traditional housing providers, CHNW removes requirements like high credit scores, large deposits, and parental co-signers, focusing instead on student stability and success. CHNW owns and operates six (soon to be seven) properties throughout the Portland metro area.

CPAH is proud of the 642 housing units they steward, the communities they support, and the services they make available to their 1100 residents and participants.

CPAH is also providing homeless services in both counties, including supportive housing for people who have been homeless for a long time.

They are leasing up a new building in Tualatin, Plambeck Gardens, and they have started construction on a new community in Tigard, Woodland Hearth. They'll begin construction soon in Portland on Jamii Court (family housing), and in Beaverton on Meadowlark Place, for older adults.

At this time, CPAH is focusing on kids’ summer programming and activities for older adults, community clean-ups organized by our own Resident Advisory Committee, and ongoing resident services work addressing housing instability for all residents who need assistance.
