Lughnasadh, first harvest. May your bread rise well, and your beer be tasty. Celebrate the grain, and your personal harvest. May it be bountiful. Art by Wendy Andrew, The Glittering Fox, and Danielle Barlow 🌞🥖🍞🍺🍻🌾🌻

We wake to mornings of cold magic. Exhale dragon-breath, crunch frost-frozen leaves as we walk. The year is dying. We feel it as rush of ghosts, a shivering that foretells the blade of ice upon its neck. No wonder this is the season where folklore burns bright. – #DAKilroy, 1982 #Folklore

I love how these people have followed my work for YEARS and then are surprised that I’m anti capitalist and anti girl boss feminism. My most successful work is about a refugee goddess who illegally crosses water to find safety, whose side do you think I’m on?

All I want is a humble castle on the Irish coast, a crackling fire, a vintage mystery novel, an emotional support raven, a raging thunderstorm, a few purring cats, endless cups of tea, and a scandalous amount of freshly-baked pastries.

This book was another casualty of Unbound. It went out of print and I didn't receive any of my final year's earnings for it (and more). Hence me giving it a bit of a boost.

I wrote it mostly during winter 2017-18, amidst much ice, while renting a scary house above the Peak District snow line.
I've TWO of these beautiful 'Witch & Hare' original linocuts by my mum, Jo, to give away to my Bluesky followers. The print is from my recently republished book, Help The Witch.

All you have to do to enter is repost this story from the book (maybe give it a read too?) www.tom-cox.com/robot-2/
