But think of the Mad Men-type who was mercurial and creative, supported by a secretary *and* other staff. Or the actuary or engineer who had a secretary to make sure he ate and wore a clean shirt to meetings.

I wear the synthetic version of birkenstocks as house shoes. Mine are purple. Maybe a little pricey for house shoes (I feel like they were cheaper a few years ago) but I wear them literally every day
