Last year I failed to harvest my carrots until the ground was half frozen. I managed to get 75% of them after a gnarly fight that made both my hands bleed 🩸(in the dark, cuz it was dinnertime; 😭 why yes I do have OCD).

Just home from my umpteenth mayoral campaign event (a fundraiser in this case; thx Declan!) and I gotta say, yet again, HOW did we get so lucky?? I’m a DeWayne #1 gal but I genuinely love Omar and Jazz too. A lot! Like, I love all three of these men more every time i hear them!

On a more positive note: really enjoyed talking with my 3 DFL-endorsed at-large park board candidates—including @amberforparks.bsky.social, whose many cool ideas include bringing back GOATS! For controlling invasives, but also for youth programming (“Kids for Kids”). She even has this 🐐 tattoo

Four years ago today we went to meet the tabby kitten we hoped to adopt (we had two elderly cats at the time). Turned out she had a shy panther brother who also needed a home; they were the last two of the litter. Today we’re all living happily ever after (except when she’s a biotch to him) ❤️🖤😭
