I was right to be worried. About 30 mins ago had rapidly crank up the air filter, open windows, take meds and put my mask on as my face burned and lips started swelling from *something*, unsure what. If you get anaphylaxis from chemicals don't let workmen into your house when you're alone.
I did not succeed in holding back tears when he finally arrived. Now also in a mast cell flare so had to tell him some of his plans will have to wait because if I have anaphylaxis I have no help. Just so done.

This week on Optimizer, I talk about how a year of testing over the counter CGMs off and on almost wrecked my relationship with food.

OTC CGMs are powerful tools but I’ve personally struggled with increased food anxiety — especially around holidays.

CGMs are ultimately a tool — one that can be used for good or abused.

If you're a construction contractor working in people's homes and have an autistic client - if you say you're on your way, that should mean you will be there in 30 minutes or less. Not an additional 3+ hours of distress for the person already waiting hours for you, and you still haven't shown up.

If you think that the current state of trans healthcare in the UK is because of concern or caution, I'd encourage you to think again.

It's not medically informed, it's a reactionary response to transphobic bigotry whipped up into a frenzy over the past few years.

And it costs lives.

I am so over bathroom renovation. Guy said he'd be here this morning to finish sealing the shower, can't use it for 24 hrs after. Figured I'd just shower tomorrow because I'm tired today. Is he here yet or given any indication of when he will be? Nope.

When you leave the house for 2 hours and the cat acts like it was 2 weeks. She won't leave my side 😂 I don't know how she'll cope with my husband gone for 3 days.

When you meet a fellow #WxmThirstSection member and discover you definitely crossed paths over 25 years ago. It really is a small world!

Only 0.3% of people chose Okonkwo for this championship double header week in fantasy EFL and he scored 6 points more than every other goalie. Wonder when the non-Wrexham fans will catch on? #AskWxm

Ooh, happy to see the Moore and Broadhead starting in tonight's lineup. Here's hoping they can find some moments while the defensive midfield tries to hold Bristol City at bay. #AskWxm

Excellent news! We are now shipping to the USA again! - Shipping prices are slightly up as we have to pay an additional fee and there's a maximum order value of £60 due to the tariffs, but at least we can ship there again!

Love the videos of the ice in the southtowns when this happens, but it's dangerous for the houses, roads, and businesses along the lakeside. Stay safe WNY. (smaller ones happen somewhat often)

Nothing like some of the common pandering nestled into an otherwise good article. To access motability you already *have* a severe disability.

This is the most ridiculous cut. My local motability dealer has said today they will only provide me with fucking giant van because it's easier than adapting a vehicle that suits me.

The mini countryman was one of the few that fit my wheelchair + hoist. news.sky.com/story/luxury...

Mrrr. We had to pick the sink from a catalogue as they didn't have many wall hung ones in the show room and they didn't warn us how deep it is (and I have no ability to translate numbers into size in my mind, never have). We went with wall hung so I could wheel under it and they knew this.

I love when there's an occasion to cook good food. Husband helped me prep potatoes for scalloped potatoes, which I decided truffle cheddar sounded like the perfect topping (no gruyere in the shop). Smells delicious in our house and I hope he feels loved even though he has to cook most of dinner.

Hand controls assessment went well enough (the car had issues, but they agreed it was the right adaptation), need the thing that goes on top of the wheel vs the push pull, so now I get to go car shopping and sign up for training with it. 🎉🎉

If you're going into health support groups and asking people to write their MP's as part of a campaign by an organisation - be honest about who you are representing from the get go. I had doubts about the new Overlapping Illness Alliance and their first campaign confirmed it's just more of the same.

Would love to know how Reform got our mailing address? No one in our house has our address publicly listed on the voters register, I'm not a member of any party and my husband definitely isn't interested in them. Yet I just got a letter titled "Wales Needs Reform". It 100% does not need them!

Apparently today was the day to catch up on all the missed sleep from the workmen not showing up during the week, even with a few pain and cat interruptions. Definitely needed it! Sad to have missed the Wrexham women's goal fest though.
