In NYC last weekend, one of the places we walked by was the Hilton where the United HC CEO was shot, allegedly by Luigi Mangione. I pointed it out to the kids. Kid 1.0 was delighted to take a photo and send it to friends.

Of all the things lost to private equity, Joann’s is definitely the worst for me. I recrntly discovered that the Pacific Fabrics at Northgate is also gone, and I don’t have time to drive to South Seattle, Monroe, or Redmond to look for fabric. And Michael’s selection is poor. 😭

Kid 2.0 made me do the Apple version of the Spotify thingy. First observation is it doesn’t count music that I listen to from my own library (even through my phone). Second, I am probably the only person my age who has Glass Animals and Allie X as their top artists. 🤣
