I'm happy to announce that I will be the next Sports Editor at The Argus Press. The transition from Ludington to Owosso has been pretty smooth so far and I can't wait to get started.

Packed house, as always, for Ovid-Elsie and Chesaning boys basketball. Both of these teams have turned their seasons around since the first time they met and are looking to stay alive in the MMAC race. Really looking forward to this one.

Girls basketball: one of the best teams in the state visits Corunna tonight as undefeated and No. 2 ranked Goodrich comes to town. If the Cavaliers want any chance of winning the Flint Metro League Stars, they have to win this game.

Oh man. I once covered the volleyball state finals as a freelancer and saw Dave there trying to cover a different story while also covering volleyball. The guy was the epitome of a hard worker.
