Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

Ask yourself: If Donald Trump was intentionally trying to destroy the United States, how could you tell the difference?

The intentional disrespect of calling the PM by his first name:
A source confirms to me that this disturbing letter from Trump to the Norwegian PM is real.
Not the sort of letter committed to paper by a well man. "Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace"

This entire administration needs to repeat kindergarten. That’s where we’re supposed to learn that we can’t just take the things we want if they’re not ours.

More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

The question "are you a US citizen or naturalized" implies the latter is not a citizen (or is a second-class citizen).

This is unconstitutional. A citizen, naturalized or born here, does not have to provide their papers to ICE.
Several people confronted Border Patrol personnel at a gas station in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after agents stopped a man pumping gas and demanded proof of citizenship.

We need less research framing the problem facing our country as "polarization" and more research framing the problem as "anti-democratic radicalization".

What pisses me off the most is the right (and especially the 2A nuts) spent decades crying about the threat of government jack booted thugs cracking down on citizens and now that it is LITERALLY HAPPENING those are the very people cheering on these masked thugs.
I hate to break it to you, but heavily-armed government militias are roaming unchecked through US cities and shooting human rights observers dead in the streets. That's happening in our country.

this seems specifically designed to break mail-in voting (where deadlines are defined by postmark)
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

We have have lost all civic virtue. And moral compass.
The worst part of this isn’t even the bigoted old man going on an appalling rant, it’s the crowd of supposed leaders standing frozen behind him. At some point it is your solemn duty to whatever you believe to be good, holy, and decent to announce “This is horrific and wrong,” and walk out.
Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."
