Just like that my #1 choice for a PhD program may be off the list. Hard to be optimistic about the future when we are so eager to burn the present and the past.
Any recommendations for PhD programs for a classical archaeologist studying ancient religion? Any country, religious freedom a must have.

This isn’t an impoverished regional school – this is the University of Chicago. Devastating.
