I am certainly no seasoned strategist but I am a little skeptical of the political wisdom behind building a giant golden ballroom and sharing a dozen photos of a renovated marble bathroom at the very moment that millions of people are losing access to healthcare and food.

when has the GOP ever really cared? not in my life time, oh yea they say the right things to get elected but then its all about oil, guns, war and money for them, none for you.
SNAP provides about $6 a day for food — which is just enough to help keep families from going hungry, but never enough to get ahead. If funds don't go out this weekend, millions of kids, seniors, families, and people with disabilities will wake up Saturday without money for groceries.

wish I could go, I refuse to travel to the US anymore. Sad since I lived there years ago and have travelled 49 out of 50 states extensively, but since Trump came on the scene... its not just him though, he got the popular vote so... no thanks, I'll stay where its relatively sane.

This was not just I s r a e l 's doing, US funded it and had the power to stop it at any point it wanted to. This is the only war Trump could have stopped DAY ONE, he would embarrassed Biden by doing so but he chose not to, why?

Decades of cops being allowed to lie about traffic crashes, arrests, etc. with impunity — and often having those lies laundered through the press — have brought us to this moment where even when ICE agents are on camera they still think they can create their own reality.
