Really really really hard and I think in part it's not worrying or living up to expectations of the role to some extent. Going to the gym, meeting friends whatever early after work isn't bad especially when it leads to better performance and wellbeing. It's an investment for work.

Good point but academisation is not the only path to improvement and many MATs have failed when supporting a brokered school. Many have been successful but there are alternatives.

A focus on AP is a wise move but it will simply highlight a huge issue in many LAs around the lack of specialist provision and a lack of appetite to take responsibility for our most challenging and vulnerable. Which is exactly what they should be doing but fear schools will be penalised.
