Indeed I was. We had to move on to Monopoly (at her request) for me to gain some traction, as it took her a while to get the rules.
(Of course, this was interspersed with repetitive Guess Who games).

I taught my 4 year old granddaughter to play snakes and ladders. She was cheating by the second game.

They had a base in Cheshire (UK) in the early 60s, and you could hear them revving the engines from where we lived, just over, in Derbyshire. They would take off from the Cheshire Plain, climb the hill at the back of our house, coming over the top very low so that you could almost wave to the Pilot.
