But you didn't see or hear the Palestinians held hostage by Israel, except maybe to mention them as terrorists.

The middle pages are loose, and the Christmas cake page is well splattered!
And yes, it's sepia.

I am now the proud owner of a Be-Ro baking book (9th edition - 1931). Childhood memories, although I think my mum's was from the 1940s.
I may once again attempt scones: maybe their recipe will work...
(My scones are improving, but not where I need them to be).

And a gong bath this evening! Ahhh!

The BBC's justification for platforming Farage beyond the actual significance of his small parliamentary party are his polls. A rather cynical explanation, for he wouldn't be where he is without the constant, uncritical appearances he's given on the BBC. It's a (literally) vicious circle.

I fear you may be right. These storms just keep a-rollin' in!

I'm awaiting the onset of roof and gable end repairs, some of which is down to 200 years of mortar erosion, and (hopefully) to a lesser degree, storm Arwen, when a slate went walkabout.
