The Motability thing - I used to work with Mercedes and the original A-Class was a huge seller in that market, not for the badge but cos it was a revolutionary design that was excellent for wheelchair users and for parking in town centres.

Quite amazing how we’ve rolled back from green initiatives over the last couple of years. EVs feel very much a niche hobby or a fleet cost benefit analysis exercise rather than the popular choice most hoped they’d be. 😢
