This was four years after Epstein had pleaded guilty to (and sentenced to incarceration for) solicitation of prostitution with a minor.
NEW: Howard Lutnick, the billionaire who serves as President Trump’s commerce secretary, planned a visit to Epstein’s island in 2012.

Lutnick previously claimed that he was so revolted by Epstein that he had cut ties with him years earlier.

The president of the United States had his DOJ raid the Fulton County election office and seized ballots. This is clearly a dry run for 2026. Yet, this is treated by too many in legacy media as normal.

This is one of the school superintendents in a western district of the Twin Cities. She and school board members are being followed and intimated. This has nothing to do with immigration. It’s about creating fear.

No arrests of the ICE thugs who murdered Alex Pretti, Renee Good, or Keith Porter. No arrests of anyone in the Epstein Files. But they arrested Don Lemon because of his journalism.

🧵 The people of Minnesota, especially Renee Good and Alex Pretti, have shown that American democracy still has a lot of strength left within it.

But the battle is far from over. The US is in a liminal moment, a time of transition. We can do this, but there's much to know and to do.

Senator Paul is a very effective communicator about this: "Nobody with any objectivity believes" Alex Pretti was assaulting the officers.

Note: Noem's DHS (via Tricia McLaughlin) is still publicly asserting the opposite about Pretti (citing federal law on assaulting, using force against agents).
Rand Paul: "When people watch that video and the government tells them, 'Well, he was assaulting the police officers,' nobody with any objectivity believes that. No American believes he was assaulting the officers. In fact, the opposite appears to be true. So we have to get some rules of the game."

It's completely insane to me that it's even up for debate among senators that Kristi Noem should resign. Every lawmaker and newspaper editorial board in the country should be calling for her resignation. She has entirely failed in this role. She is incompetent. She is a disaster.

This is so good. There are models--and Minneapolis is a great one--of what community and solidarity look like. And those real, existing models are far more compelling to far more people than the blood-and-soil fever dreams of soulless maga ghouls
Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
