It's insane to pretend this is "war." Coast Guard could stop these boats if clear they're approaching our shore, board, see if they've got drugs or whatever, and arrest the crew. As was always done. But no, we're just going to hit them with war weapons, and take out all survivors.

Wore glasses since I was six. Fun thing I learned in my 50s is, sometimes your eyes go bad the other way. I got more and more nearsighted, now I'm in the process of getting farsighted. Though I'd probably have to wait until I'm 120 to get to that just-right point.
