I don’t generally like taking up space, but the release of Kirby Air Riders is one of the biggest “specifically for me” things I’ve ever experienced. I’m still in shock it’s even happening at all, much less releasing in an hour!

Kirby's Dream Land 2: First-time playthrough! I know this is a fan-favorite entry, but I didn't vibe with the animal friends like most people. Trying out the many different ability combinations is fun, but like... only 3 of them are actually useful. Fine game, just not for me 🤷♂️

Kirby's Dream Land: It takes 10-20 minutes to play through Kirby's first game, and even without his signature copy abilities, the little guy can still throw hands. It's a game that respects your time, fully exploring Kirby's inhale/projectile powers before rolling credits.

Kirby Super Star: Probably the best 2D Kirby game, and STILL one of the most approachable retro games ever made. I mean it when I say ANYONE can pick this up and have an amazing time, from Spring Breeze to Milky Way Wishes.

If I had a nickel for every song from a rock band dedicated to a boy named Julian that featured life advice, group-singing, and tons of “na na na’s” at the end, I’d have 2 nickels… which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice

I spent so much time with Super Mario Galaxy growing up. I played it, finished it, then restarted it on repeat. I spent hours just running around the Comet Observatory. I was an absolute fiend for this game.
I never knew Mario could crouch-attack until literally yesterday.

10 years ago, the Game Grumps channel put up the 1st part of the Steam Train Undertale series. A minute in, @barrykramer.bsky.social & @rubberross.bsky.social said “if this game looks interesting to you, stop watching this and go play it.” So I did just that, and the rest is history. Thanks guys 😊
