The Apache foundation have had it for a while now, and it's much better than it was. That said, it really will come down to which one you personally prefer from both a UI and a file handling/interpretation perspective. Good luck! 👍🏼

...OpenOffice and LibreOffice, and open some of your existing files to see which handles them better; they each handle the DOCX format slightly differently, in my experience.

Seeing as nobody has mentioned it the other option is OpenOffice, which shares a lot of DNA with LibreOffice and is now part of the Apache foundation. However, it went through a dark period under Oracle where many devs jumped ship. Honestly, if you have the time and patience, I'd try both...
