I just finished this today, next up a closeup of one of the little guys that lives there.
A colossal undead humanoid couches on all fours above a forest. A stitched green and blue mass, the creature has exposed muscle and bone, with buildings woven into the muscle mass forming a city on it. Its head is a bare horned skull staring eyelessy forward, and there are a network of bridges and walkways connecting different buildings and regions on the figure.

To protect themselves from the xenophobic humans, the vk'xs raised an ancient titan, creating a civilization ship to weather the storm. The human armies broke at the sight of the colossus, suing for peace before a drop of blood was shed.

Its skin is a patchwork of blues and greens with exposed bone and muscle. Homes cathedrals and castles are knit into the body of the creature, muscle fibers engulfing them, with bridges and walkways forming connections. Tiny insectoid humanoid creatures walk these and look out from windows.

This #squirrel taken over by a #mushroom colony was inspired by a former student telling me seeing my #art "feels like being noticed by a clicker from the last of us." Which is the biggest compliment I've gotten in a while.
