To protect themselves from the xenophobic humans, the vk'xs raised an ancient titan, creating a civilization ship to weather the storm. The human armies broke at the sight of the colossus, suing for peace before a drop of blood was shed.

A colossal undead humanoid crouches on all fours above a forest, dwarfing even the mountain range behind it. Its horned skull staring eyelessly forward. Its skin is a patchwork of blues and greens with exposed bone and muscle. Homes cathedrals and castles are knit into the body of the creature, muscle fibers engulfing them, with bridges and walkways forming connections. Tiny insectoid humanoid creatures walk these and look out from windows.

This #squirrel taken over by a #mushroom colony was inspired by a former student telling me seeing my #art "feels like being noticed by a clicker from the last of us." Which is the biggest compliment I've gotten in a while.
