I did wonder if part of the problem was that I'm 41 now, and not a 19 year old experiencing Metroid Prime on a tiny crt TV in a little flat in Scotland, but nah, something's clearly gone in the quarter of a century since the first one...

Just played Observer, after enjoying Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 so much, and it's not bad at all. Overeggs the discombobulating glitchy jumpscares though, and the stealth sections are wank. On the plus side, it's v short.
