I recall my excitement as a kid when I heard that"Misery"was to be made into a movie.By that time,I had seen countless adaptions of Stephen King's work,but had,as yet,to have read the books they were based upon.This would be the first film,of any literary inspiration,where I had read the book before

I had to run a quick errand for the Parents this afternoon,and as is de rigueur,the holiday music was in full force.Twenty years ago I started a tradition of making "Helliday" mixtapes for friends to drown out that omnipresent seasonal assault on the eardrums.They would get weirder as time went on

Well, my health insurance just doubled in cost from last month. With not working while caregiving , this is not going to be sustainable for long.

While I'm not one of those movie buffs who has to have all his media in the latest format,there are a select few movies that I will instant buy upgrades.I've owned this film series on VHS,laserdisc(both standard & special editions),Dvd(box set of the series),bluray,& now 4k.
