We are not defined by Dear Colleague letters. The fabric of who we are is not changed by budget cuts and lived identities do not suddenly disappear with banned terms. The work gets harder and that's what they want - but we have to continue to be there for each other. I value you, I appreciate you.

Thank you for knowing that individual lived experiences matter and deserve cultural competency and resources and investment. Thank you for speaking up and taking up space and not losing sight of why we went into this work - for students to feel seen, heard, and loved.
