Yeah it was the inflexibility of RPGMaker that was doing me in. I've worked with Unreal and very basic javascript, overtime I was starting to feel a bit "is it worth just going full out?"

Much love and support to the people playing the plugins, but after the first couple y'know ahaha.

How does Godot compare in the leap from RPGMaker to that, in function of RPG mechanic stuff?

I started an RPG project myself ages ago, but I've been umming and aahing over Godot. I've seen you've way more experience with the latter engine than I could ever.

09. Weirdest OC - Greirat

Horrible, mage-eating, constantly drooling, warlock, freak.

I went a bit bananas with Greirat, he's such a guilty pleasure if I'm honest. He was a reboot of the same alt but a different character, turned up to eleven.

and so on. You genuinely inspired me when I was making Wretch and a lot of the art and stories I did for them, because what you were doing just seemed so unbelievably fun (and it was!).

At the end of the day its a bit of a wild and whacky hobbyspace, but I can say for myself and probably for -

As a random aside - its not quite related to the topic at hand, but its in a similiar vein. I appreciate you sharing all your stories and the creative little glimpses into plotlines you'd share over the years, with the likes of Acrona, Manata(?) -

Not that you need any validation from a random dickhead on the same server, but honestly mate - good on you for it. You've put in some solid work over the years, that have enriched the server - and my own experiences there-in - immeasurably.

There's been some one-sided pining both for a character off other characters, and pining from a character to another character, but it's never been something more than an underlying little joke.

I'm a pretty non-romantic person as is, so I'm not much into ships.

06. Describe your character creation process

I used Lambkin for the example but they're very much an exception to the rule. I just wanted to make a gruff, messed up dog woman on that one, no deeper meaning.

05. Main reason for making OC's
- Playing dollies with friends is fun.

RP really does kinda come down to that primitive urge to play pretend even just a little bit.

04. Favourite OC Design - Yago

He's literally just St Anthony's Jaw with some added undead vibe, but I'm still fond.

Pro-tip: I just put the false eye on whatever eye I can't really draw that day. Hence why it's never consistent.

Character appearances to me I've always just had a vague vibe for anyway.

03. Favourite OC - Wretch

I have plenty of characters I actually like more than Wretch, but he is ultimately the favourite. Just an absolutely useless guy always having fits of melodrama, he's ridiculous and I loved writing the manic diabtribes.

I started working into this sketch a bit more, but the raw lines and the distressed angles were far too fitting for the character.

1. Oldest OC - Alb

It's been like, half a decade since I last drew Alb I think, definitely that long since I last played them.

The character reminds me of all the ridiculously funny people I've had the pleasure of meeting over the years. Big ups to Antiquarian as always and ever.
