Bringing the joys of rapacious hyper-capitalism to every corner of the globe.
One vertically-integrated sh*tpost at a time.
Thread started /w another acct. crowing over their schadenfreude watching America come undone as just-desserts for not supporting their cause.

“Hold your nose” 💯 2 awful choices, 1 less-awful. My point to them was supporting more awful was short-sighted. It happened, it’s a new fight for better now

I see we’ve reached the ad hominem part of the discussion.

You feel unshakable in your correctness and that of your fellows. Everyone else is wrong or has sinister motives, you made the only moral objectively correct choice. Fine, we won’t make any progress in discussion. Best to leave it here.

Brett McGurk, the DOS team & Egyptian/Qatari counterparts did all the heavy lifting. Your reductionist, fawning assessment reads like an OAN article. Limited aid flowed for all of 38 days. We covered deaths

Biden saw it as “impossible” due to Hamas’ “we won’t ever stop attacking” stance at the time

No, the current administration is the end result of decades of abdication by Congress and reckless expansion of Executive power by both parties. It appears to be a speed-run to re-establish the gilded age as a “new normal” but with more Christian nationalism and expansionist ambition.

So the solution was helping Republicans, who care even more about their donors and AIPAC, gain power? That’s giga-brained protesting.

“If only you’d met all demands, we would’ve helped stop the party that has zero interest in our cause.” Short-sighted performative action harming two nations. Bravo.

“Far fewer Gazans killed since Trump” is wild cope. There’s fewer dead/day because at least a skeleton of a ceasefire plan exists - one he had no hand in. Pretending it’s correlated to Trump is insanely disingenuous.

The “Movement” actively chose the greater of two evils for performative resistance
March 10, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Indifference to genocide? Do you think Bibi halts all food, now electricity & soon water to Gaza without Trump in office?

That “movement” was the definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Short sighted petulance that doomed real people. But you “sent a message,” thats whats important.

Behold the timidity of PBS, afraid of being targeted by the US administration.

ex: the editor is willing to lay out spending directly but, when it comes to cuts (like those for Veteran Services), they report via Democrat quote & bury it.

You’re not slick, the gentle narrative shaping is obvious.

If your reaction is “how could the Court ever come to that decision?” read pg. 38-40

The circuit system & common law itself can have their drawbacks. This isn’t due to “tech-illiterate Judges” etc.

“Nuh-uh! I’m right, you’re wrong - I can’t hear you la-la-la-la-la”

Great discourse. For someone whose profile calls out Twitter you’re bringing that energy hard.

You just described part of the propaganda being used:

“You don’t have to change, everything is fine - elect us and we’ll protect you from the unnecessary changes these radicals are forcing on you.”

This is excusing inaction with extra steps.

What gets published is as important as who reports it.
Fine reporters have stories killed.
Fine reporters have editors with final copy approval.
Fine reporters work for an activist owner.

All WaPo sees is your sub $$ & the support it signals.

Is there a different standard/threshold for drawing adverse interest when the State is party to a proceeding?

Don’t understand why Kollar-Kotelli J. hasn’t put them on notice. Either “the dog ate my homework” or Client refuses to cooperate. Counsel have been eaten alive for less.
February 25, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Yeah, it’s a real mystery…
February 17, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Impossible A w/o assumptions, simplifications & ignoring some confounders. But I live to waste company time:

Spun-off c/b valued at $15-21B using storage sector metrics. EG&S=~10.4% TSLA rev. so say 332mil shares (frm TSLAs 3.2B)

So theoretical PPS of $45-64 (ex TSLA intangibles, advantages etc.)
