A knitted blanket being made. The yarn is shades of grey, brown and beige. It's worked in a spiral of rectangular strips joined together, and measures about 600 mm by 320.

For almost a year, I've been #HandSpinning a blend of Jacob wool and fur I comb from my floofy #cats. Now I'm #knitting my own variation of the 10 stitch blanket with lace paw prints. I love it so far! #handmade

This is #POTS, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. I'm just sitting in a chair at my sewing machine and my pulse is 104. It can cause days of exhaustion from minor effort. It's a common feature of #ME_CFS and other illnesses. #ChonicIllness

Ada must have been having a nightmare. I reached for my trackball right by her head in my lap, and she scratched, bit, and snarled. And then went peacefully back to sleep. All in a fraction of a second. I think I'm a little afraid of her now. #cat

#disability This isn't a sales pitch, just an FYI. I bought this cup because I have to lie back most of the time, and keep spilling coffee on my chest. This thing has a cup inside the lid, so you can tilt it without getting a hot faceful. Hard to explain, but works great. Brand name to follow.

I replaced my keycaps because it was getting too hard to see the labels. I don't love the orange keys, but gosh darn it, it's easy to see where everything is. There wasn't an exact match for my right shift key, alas. (this is the Uciefy pudding.) #gaming #LowVision #disability

An #introduction. I'm wrapped in my handknits because I get cold. I'm in bed because that's where I spend most of my time. I have nearly everything I need cluttered around me so I don't have to get up. Two floofy cats visit at their whim. I invented the concept of Humble Soup. More to come.
