Another thing that scares me is that among the 11,785 infected participants, 4692 (39.8%) were “ME/CFS-like, w/ at least one ME/CFS symptom.” My friends & I talk often about how we were “ME/CFS-like” for years before we got sick enough to actually meet the criteria
4.5% rate of ME/CFS post Covid infection.

This is #POTS, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. I'm just sitting in a chair at my sewing machine and my pulse is 104. It can cause days of exhaustion from minor effort. It's a common feature of #ME_CFS and other illnesses. #ChonicIllness

Watching S9E2 of #QueerEye, and all I can think is, "somebody PLEASE tell me this lovely, vulnerable woman is fully divorced, and that house is in her name." Because I can just see her dirt bag ex showing up to tear her down all over again. Because abusers are like that.

This might seem like a subtle difference, but it's an important one: you can wish harm to your opponents, or you can wish they cease to be able to harm. I like to think a lot of what I hope for is the latter if I cheer chaos and setbacks and scandals.
