I know your ass is gonna get wiped by the puzzles and bosses but at the very least, getting one more person to listen to fearless challenger and grand history is a victory to me. I love this game and its ost so much.

Lotta cool games I could reccomend, I'll go with Valkyrie Profile Covenant of the Plume. It's the rare short rpg and the branching route stuff is really cool. Ntm the similarities to Fuga.

This is genuinely the og indie metroidvania (the original was made in 2005, this is the remake). It took me like 3 years to beat this game when I was a kid and it's part of the reason I'm a masochist.

Like people thought it was crazy that chrono trigger let you time travel at the time. smt2 is set in a post apocalyptic cyberpunk world inspired by ancient egypt and jewish mysticism *and* you get to go to hell in that game. And that was BEFORE chrono trigger came out.

It would be hilarious, but I don't think Fire Emblem has the balls to have a character reject you.

This isn't a serious complaint about Unicorn Overlord or Boyfriend Dungeon, it's just a funny obvservation. I like that these games are willing to establish these characters's boundaries even at the cost of what the player wants.

Elite Beat Agents is the only other ds game with licensed music that comes to mind. Technically it's all covers but they're pretty good covers.
