This is great! Here I am with my CFI when I passed my PPL check ride late 2023.

Indeed they do.

These two almost never get along, but yesterday, for a few minutes, they were friends. Or at least they were too lazy to care.

Haha I always thought the same thing about that tree. I have (sort of) that picture. Did you make it all the way to the hand tram?

I put some pork belly on earlier today to make burnt ends. By now it’s not quite dead, but it’s not fooling anyone. At some point some chicken legs also marinated in that smoke.

I haven’t flown solo since September, and I truly enjoyed my lonesome and peaceful slow dance with the clouds on Friday. Bonus: Indian food for lunch in Bowling Green, KY. #pilotsofbluesky

I flew near some clouds the other day. It was a very pleasant flight, and I ate Indian food in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

This is Fox News (and its ilk) in a nutshell: scare their audience with lies about made-up villains in order to generate enough faux outrage to get them to vote the real villains into office.

After knocking the rust off my first few landings yesterday at my home airport, I flew my wife and son to Greencastle, IN for lunch and then visited Terre Haute for coffee and the gift shop. I planted it on the threshold and turned off runway 23 at KHUF in 700’. 😁

Took @moogie.chayer.net flying today. We got breakfast. We went really fast. Then we went really slow.

This is my go-to. They sell this size can at my local Asian grocery store, but I’ve seen larger containers available online. I would guess making your own may yield a fresher-tasting product, but this saves the trouble at least and I’ve always enjoyed the flavor.

Our destination? The proverbial $100 hamburger at KSJS. We watched the sunset from the air on our return trip.

I had the good fortune to fly a Ford Trimotor over Lexington, KY last month, and yes, I’m in the right seat. I logged my first 0.3 hours of multi-engine time in this 95 year old legend. My college freshman son and his girlfriend came along. #WingWednesday #aviation
