Last Christmas, we couldn't be bothered with a tree or decorations. Worked for us, but my traditional old dad gave me a hard time about it.
This year, to save me from lying, I've put up this bit of conifer, that was floating on the pond.

We received our first Christmas card today, and on this evening's 15 minute dog walk, I counted 19 houses with Christmas stuff up.

Despite never owning any Ford, the combination of a large takeaway curry, and leaving the electric blanket on high all night, just resulted in me dreaming I was parking a Fiesta Sandpiper outside my (then) local shops on a glorious late '80s summers day.

Does it collect rainwater in gutters to refill the bottle, like a water butt?
“EV maintenance is a nightmare!” … I just performed the only service I’ll likely need for another 2 years. Windshield washer fluid. 🤣
This is what #EV owners are talking about: no oil changes, no tune ups, no timing belt, no brake service until ~120k miles, just tires & I’m still on my original set

Becoming a rare sight now. I guess although they still seem quite new, seeing this prefix X plater now, is equipment to seeing a suffix P reg Chevette in 2000.
