I thought getting older was supposed to impart wisdom. So far the only thing my forties have taught me is that no matter how frequently you use the nose and ear hair trimmer, it's not fucking frequently enough

30 years since I attended my first gig. Bloody good one too. I bought a couple of Sonic Youth Albums (Daydream Nation and Washing Machine) a few days afterwards and the record store guy actually shook my hand, impressed at my choice of first gig.

Turned out this was not a thing. However, what an end to the season he had, absolutely phenomenal. Can we now all recognise that Max is just really, really, REALLY fucking good at racing cars?
After this weekend, still definitely a thing, mark my words
Max is going to be F1 champion again this year, isn’t he? Feels kinda inevitable
