Weird and eventful start of the year overall. Had a lot of wholesome gatherings with friends and old acquaintances during holidays, then got nasty sick a week ago, while recovering managed to have an interview, got a bit sad because I thought I failed it and now this
I’ve got my very first Junior QA offer from what seems to be a really nice company, and I’m quitting the job I’ve been at for over 10 years in two weeks. 🌚 It’s too early to say, but it might be that, for the first time in my life, I actually got really lucky.

It sucks so bad that with the current state of the world I can't get excited at all about the possibility of future medical breaktroughs. All I can think about is the future where billionaires and dictators live forever while common people keep dying.

KDE Plasma was a mistake, it's a buggy mess and theming is a nightmare. I made it look pretty anyway.

i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!

"Even your old PC can be a homelab" my ass, I've spent 2 days trying to set up a simple media server and when I finally got everything working there were terrible transcoding issues due to my old hardware. Well, at least I learned how to do it.

Hit credits on Hades 2, glad I finally was able to get into a game that wasn't an rpg. Probably going to play more after some time and at least do all of the prophesies.

Watched the first episode of The Mighty Nein and it's SO GOOD, the 40 minutes episodes is truly a blessing. The C2's story was a bit all over the place but with a proper restructure and all these extra POVs it's going to be the best.
