I still love this old piece I made for my final project at college. It's not perfect by any means but for essentially just starting to find my way with watercolours I think I did a pretty okay job 😌✨️

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

I have a super limited number of commission slots available to be done before Christmas this year - I have a much needed vacation in early November and then like 3 days after I get back I'll be getting top surgery so I will not be available for any work from the end of October until the new year!

I'm just a Dan on the Canadian Prairies with pens, paper, some time in my day who tries to capture the fleeting glimpses of unreality that flash through my mind

This "face" is surrounded by a body of metal that is rounded and organic in appearance with glowing orbs embedded in it while several thick tendrils made up a black material come out of its back by the shoulders and flow up out of view against the coffee coloured background. An arch of material behind it suggests a chair while devices off to the lower right suggest controls.
